How Much Money Will Maha Kumbh 2025 Make?
CM Yogi Adityanath stated that Maha Kumbh 2025 is projected to create economic growth of up to Rs 2 lakh crore in the state. He added, "The Maha Kumbh is a symbol of India's spiritual and cultural heritage. This event allows individuals from India and throughout the world to celebrate their old customs and better understand their cultural roots."
The CM stated that the purpose of this event is not only to promote religious beliefs, but also to inspire and guide future generations. He stated that the central and state governments are constantly working to make this event fruitful and convenient for the presence of saints.
Yogi Adityanath said that this year's Maha Kumbh would be a great, heavenly, and digital event. Pilgrims can now use digital tourist maps, security measures linked to artificial intelligence (AI), and a method for checking restroom cleanliness via smartphones.
The Chief Minister stated that when pilgrims visit the state, they spend money on transportation, lodging, food, and other services, thereby benefiting local companies and employment. He stated that more than 16 crore pilgrims visited Kashi Vishwanath in Kashi in 2024, while more than 13.55 crore visited Ayodhya from January to September in the same year. The Maha Kumbh has been organized with a focus on environmental protection.
CM Yogi Aditynath stated that cutting-edge STPs (Sewage Treatment Plants) and 'bio-remediation' procedures are being employed to keep any type of filthy water from entering the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. In addition, over 1.5 lakh toilets have been created with minimal environmental impact.
According to one report, the Uttar Pradesh government spent approximately Rs 5,000 crore to generate the Rs 2 lakh crore revenue.
