TVS Motor Company reported on Thursday a 9% increase in total sales in July to 3,54,140 units, up from 3,25,977 units in the same month last year. Total two-wheeler sales were 3,39,676 units in the month under review, up from 3,12,307 units in July 2023, representing a 9% increase, according to TVS Motor Co. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 8% in July to 2,54,250 units, up from 2,35,230 units the previous year.
TVS Motor Co stated its motorbike sales in July increased by 5% to 1,61,074 units, compared to 1,53,942 units in the same month last year. Scooter sales increased 15% to 1,39,995 units in July 2024, from 1,21,941 in July 2023
Last month, electric vehile sales increased by 61 percent to 21,442 units, up from 13,306 units the previous year. Three-wheeler sales grew by 6% to 14,464 units in July 2024, up from 13,670 in the same month last year.
If we look at the previous month, the company reported that its total shipments increased by 9% to 97,589 units, up from 89,213 units in July 2023.
