Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced its third 400-cc model, the Speed T4, in the nation. The new Triumph motorbike is based on the Speed 400 and features a modern-classic design with a number of vintage components. The Triumph Speed T4 costs ₹2.17 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes with other retro-styled bikes in the 350-500 cc class.
The new Triumph motorbike has a modified gasoline tank with graphics, a changed seat, new bar-end mirrors, and more. The new motorbike shares its foundations with the Speed 400. The general design is more retro-inspired, with the goal of giving the bike a playful appearance.
Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director at Bajaj Auto highlighted, “With the launch of the Speed T4 and MY25 Speed 400, we continue our commitment to expanding Triumph's range in India. These models blend heritage with innovation, offering both relaxed and performance-oriented riders something special. The Triumph and Bajaj Alliance has put out almost 60,000 bikes of the TR series to over 50 countries including India."
New Triumph Speed 400 Motorcycle Specifications
The 398 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor produces 30.6 horsepower and 36Nm of peak torque, and is combined with a 6-speed gearbox. Tuned for low-end torque, the firm claims that 85 percent of the torque is accessible at 2500 rpm.
Other bike components include all-LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, a semi-digital instrument dashboard, 43 mm telescopic forks, and a monoshock in the rear. Braking power comes from 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

The 350-500 cc sector offers a number of alternatives, including the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Jawa 42 FJ 350, Yezdi Roadster, Honda CB350RS, Harley-Davidson X440, and others. Triumph's new product will assist to consolidate its place in this market by providing something tailored to the tastes of various clients.
