Throughout the year, the CPSE, infra, and real estate indexes all had gains of above 100%. On Thursday, the NSE's cash market volumes topped ₹1 lakh crore. On the BSE, 2,042 equities, or around 52% of the total, fell compared to 1,793 that increased. With gains of more than 3% apiece, Bajaj Finserv, Grasim, Hero Motocorp, and Bajaj Finance were the top Nifty gainers.
