    Tata Motors Unveils New Altroz Racer for Rs 9.50 lakh; Features and other Details

    Tata Motors has unveiled the Altroz Racer, a sportier variant of their premium hatchback. This new model has a 1.2 L turbo petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque, providing an exciting driving experience. The Racer also features a 6-speed manual transmission and a strong exhaust tone.

    Features

    The Altroz Racer has a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six standard airbags. It's the only hatchback in its class with a 6-speed manual transmission that's suitable for both city and highway driving.

    Variants & Pricing

    The Altroz Racer comes in three variants:

    R1: ₹9,49,000 

    R2: ₹10,49,000 

    R3: ₹10,99,000

    Customers can select from three colors: pure grey, atomic orange, and avenue white. Tata Motors has also added two new versions (XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX) and improved one variation (XZ+OS) to the Altroz lineup, which is available in a variety of powertrains such as petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG.

    Additional Variants

    XZ LUX (New): ₹8,99,900. The XZ+S LUX (new) costs ₹9,64,990, while the upgraded XZ+OS costs ₹9,98,900.

    According to Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., “The Altroz Racer is a new addition to the Altroz lineup designed to add excitement to daily driving. Its high power output, along with segment-leading features and a tech-first approach, make the Racer appealing to new-generation customers who are connected, fashion-forward, and want to drive a car that sets them apart."
