Stocks to Watch: The GIFT Nifty fell 24 points, or 0.12%, to 19,824.50, signaling a bearish start for the NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex on Wednesday. Previously, the NSE Nifty 50 rose 89 points, or 0.45%, to 19,783.40, while the BSE Sensex rose 275.63 points, or 0.42%, to 65,930.78.

The corporate results season is drawing to a conclusion, and the market is looking for new cues to invest. Technically, Nifty needs to retake the 19889 level in order to see further gains. "The 19471 level is the Nifty's strongest support," stated Prashanth Tapse, Senior VP (Research), Mehta Equities Ltd.
