Proptech firm Landeed said on Tuesday that it has secured funding in a strategic fundraising round headed by Paradigm Shift VC. The business did not reveal the amount of money raised.
Landeed said in a statement that it will use the new money to enhance its product line and personnel to support its expanding development in India and overseas. In January 2023, Y Combinator, Draper Associates, and Bayhouse Capital led a fundraising round for the local firm, raising $8.3 million.
Landeed's mobile app gives property owners, agents, developers, and legal consultants access to real estate records for developing, financing, and selling properties.
The business, which was founded by Sanjay Mandava, ZJ Lin, and Jonathan Richards, has released an AI Property Analyser that gives a property's whole ownership history—from the first to the most recent—along with all transactions and encumbrances.
Even though we weren't actively seeking money, our last round was significantly oversubscribed, and the majority of the capital from that round was still available, we chose to proceed with their investment because of our solid working relationship (with Paradigm Shift). Co-founder and CEO of Landeed Sanjay Mandava stated, "We will use this extra firepower to expand our consumer-side offerings and scale our engineering team."
