Snabbit, a quick-service app that provides on-demand home services, raised $5.5 million in a Series A fundraising round headed by Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. Vidit Aatrey, Sanjeev Barnwal, Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh were among the prominent angel investors who participated in the funding round. This comes after Nexus Venture Partners made a $1 million seed investment in early 2024.
Snabbit's mission is to make urban living easier by connecting homeowners with trusted and trained specialists for daily home activities. The platform promises a quick, dependable, and high-quality answer to problems encountered by many Indian households.
Snabbit was founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, who previously worked as head of staff at quick-commerce business Zepto. It is already active in select regions of Mumbai. The new cash will help it expand into new regions and strengthen its personnel.
"India is an incredible market with immense untapped potential for high-frequency home services," said Aayush Agarwal, Snabbit's founder and CEO. "Over the last few months, we've focused on identifying client pain areas and developing a scalable, game-changing model. The response has been really encouraging—we've acquired hundreds of consumers within a short serviceable radius, thanks to strong word-of-mouth. This is only the beginning of what we see as a huge opportunity. We're not just starting a firm; we're developing a new category that's primed for enormous innovation and growth," he added.
Manish Advani, vice president of Elevation Capital, lauded Snabbit's platform for providing speedy, on-demand, and economical home services via a hyperlocal network of specialists. "Leveraging a unique model to deliver reliable and high-quality services swiftly, Snabbit stands out in the home services sector," he said.
"Snabbit is disrupting the home services industry at a hyperlocal level," said Suvir Sujan, managing director of Nexus Venture Partners.
With a hyperlocal network that operates in dense residential clusters, Snabbit has taken a full-stack approach to finding, training, and managing its employees. The company provides a regular income and important benefits such as health and accident insurance to its employees, solving the issues of a long-fragmented and unorganized sector.
