Prime Minister Narendra Modi disclosed Rs 3.02 crore in total assets in his poll affidavit, which is required for contesting elections in India.
According to the electoral affidavit, PM Modi owns Rs 52,920 in cash and Rs 2.85 crore in fixed deposits at SBI. The gross total value of his assets is Rs 3,02,06,889.
PM also owns four gold rings totaling Rs 2.67 lakh. He has not declared any immovable assets. According to the declaration, he does not own any houses or cars.
The Prime Minister's income grew from Rs 11.1 lakh in 2018-19 to Rs 23.56 lakh in 2022-23.
PM Modi reported assets totaling Rs 1.66 crore in 2014 and Rs 2.51 crore in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
He has also included his phone number and email address in the affidavit.
In the education part, PM Modi stated that he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University in 1978 and a Master of Arts from Gujarat University in 1983. He further stated in the affidavit that there are no pending criminal cases against him.
