NSE and BSE, which are the Country's leading stock exchanges, said that they are not impacted due to the global outage of Microsoft systems. This comes amid the circulating reports of operational disruptions of several airlines, banks, media outlets worldwide.
Microsoft users across the globe have reported massive outages in services. Even the outage tracking website Downdetector shows users flagging disruptions across various services. And amidst this outage, the two leading Indian stock exchanges gave an announcement that they are not impacted due to the Microsoft outage.
NSE's spokesperson said in a statement, "NSE (National Stock Exchange) and NCL (NSE Clearing Ltd) are working normally today." Furthermore, a spokesperson of BSE highlighted that the bourse is "not impacted due to Microsoft issue and the operations are running normal."
The Microsoft cloud outage led to US airlines cancelling the flights. However, the tech giant has reported that the cloud services outage in the Central region of the US has been rectified. Furthermore, as per the report, the glitch is causing users to see the Blue Screen of Death error messages. Also, there are widespread reports of disruptions in international airlines, media outlets, banks, and even in the London Stock Exchange.
