Neysa has successfully raised USD 30 million in Series A funding. The funding round was co-led by NTTVC, Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India), and Nexus Venture Partners. The generative AI startup also had a seed funding round of USD 20 million in April this year and has become one of the only few startups to close two rounds in six months.
As per the company, this new capital raised will help Neysa upscale its AI infrastructure while at the same time enhance research and development, and prepare for the launch of its Gen AI acceleration cloud service. Additionally, Neysa would also be focusing towards strengthening its collaborations with cloud service providers, global system integrators, and other competent AI-focused software providers.
The company was established by Sharad Sanghi and Anindya Das, and was incepted with the focus on assisting clients in the discovery, planning, deployment, and management of generative AI projects in a cost-effective manner. Also, the company intends to secure its AI environments in the cloud and at the edge through a consumption-based model.
Neysa has made progress by launching its flagship platform, Neysa Velocis, in July since its initial seed round. Speaking of the platform, it offers on-demand access to high-performance computing infrastructure and is now available to the public. According to the company, it has secured orders from customers across various sectors like AI, media, services, software, and the public sector.
Furthermore, Sarvam AI has raised USD 41 million in Series A, which was further followed by Ema at USD 25 million and USD 20 million for Neysa in seed funding. Neysa has become the top-funded early-stage startup in this space with an additional USD 30 million in Series A. There were other noteworthy funding rounds which included startups such as Vodex, KonProz, Dubpro.ai, PlanckDOT, Ayna, Simplismart, and Rabbit AI.
