Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Tuesday that Kerala's Left Democratic Front government would implement Rs13,013.40 crore in development projects over 100 days to commemorate its third anniversary. The initiatives, which are part of the fourth iteration of the 100-day programs, are anticipated to be finished by October 22, he stated.
Vijayan cited, "A total of 1,070 projects under 47 departments have been included in the latest 100-day initiative. The fourth edition of the 100-day programme, which began after this government took power, will further boost various government activities that ensure the well-being of common people, social progress, and comprehensive and sustainable development." He further said that the 100-day program is intended to focus on areas that demand special attention, as well as to carry out pledges made in the election platform.
"The initiative aims to complete projects totaling Rs 13,013.40 crore across 47 departments in 100 days. Furthermore, it is estimated to provide 2,59,384 work possibilities. It has been agreed to finish and inaugurate 706 projects and launch or announce 364 more within the stated time frame," stated Vijayan.
The plan includes both livelihood and infrastructural improvements. Aside from the inauguration of new roads and bridges, 30,000 title documents will be given around the state during this time period. The project would also contain 456 modernized ration shops and 37 smart communities. The Chief Minister announced the commencement of a scheme to deliver pricey medicines, including cancer treatments, at no profit through Karunya community pharmacies. During this time, the Life Mission project would also distribute 10,000 individual residences to worthy people, according to Vijayan.
