Leading military PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited stated on Monday that it had a double-digit growth of almost 11% in the financial year 2023–24 and achieved its highest-ever income from operations exceeding Rs 29,810 crore.

HAL said in a post on X that it had achieved the "highest-ever revenue from operations" for the fiscal year 2023–24, surpassing Rs 29,810 crore (provisional and unaudited). This was a double-digit growth of almost 11% compared to the previous fiscal year's 9% growth.
The amount that corresponded to the prior year was Rs 26,928 crore.
"Despite the major supply chain challenges arising due to geopolitical issues, the company has met the expected revenue growth with improved performance for the entire year," stated HAL.
The company's order book is "in excess of Rs 94,000 crore with additional major orders expected" as of March 31, 2024. According to the corporation, performance has improved and growth momentum has been maintained.
On March 28, the Tejas Mk1A series' inaugural aircraft, LA5033, lifted off from the HAL plant in Bengaluru and accomplished a successful skydive.
HAL reports that the Tejas Mk1A aircraft completed an 18-minute flight successfully. Chief Test Pilot Group Captain (retd) K K Venugopal flew the aircraft.
