GreenStitch, a sustainability-focused SaaS platform for the fashion and textile industries, has raised USD 1.2 million in seed funding headed by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with participation from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures.
Climate and fashion specialists, as well as entrepreneurs such as Anshuman Bapna (Founder, Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO, Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (founder, Clovia), Amit Kumar (founder, Nobroker), and Senthil Sankar (founder, Ecoline), invested in the round.
The money will be utilized to strengthen the company's personnel and product, as well as to establish a fashion and textile database.
GreenStitch, founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, interacts directly with enterprise ERP and PLM systems, aggregating information from many supply chain layers, discovering data gaps, and filling in details using AI and machine learning. This guarantees accurate Scope 3 GHG calculations, even with inadequate datasets, and identifies ESG concerns in the supply chain.
In addition to data-driven emissions tracking, GreenStitch provides tools for decarbonization and predictive modeling. These technologies enable firms to assess the influence of design choices and supplier decisions on carbon emissions, allowing them to implement proactive sustainability policies before production begins.
