FanTV, a content platform built on the Sui blockchain, has secured an additional $3 million in strategic investment from Mysten Labs, Cypher Capital, CoinSwitch Ventures, and Illuminati Capital.
This follows an earlier $5.5 million funding round led by Multicoin Capital, Woodstock Fund, Krafton, IOSG Ventures, Pravega Ventures, and Tykhe Block Ventures.
Launched in 2023 by Prashan Agarwal, FanTV combines AI and blockchain technology to enable content creators. The platform, which functions on the Sui blockchain, has grown rapidly, attracting over 8 million users, including 80,000 creators. FanTV processes more than 30 million transactions and 1.2 million hours of AI-generated content each month.
Creators on FanTV produce a variety of content, including music, videos, podcasts, web series, and vlogs, using advanced AI tools. The platform supports both emerging talent and established influencers, featuring creators such as TrevinVSNFT, Sui’s top content creator, Bitcoin educator Kashif Raza, CryptoIndia, BlockFuel, and digital voices like MrBreadSmith.
In addition to simplifying content creation, FanTV is revolutionizing how creators monetize their work. With AI-powered tools, digital tipping, and personalized Creator Coins, it allows users to support their favorite creators while providing creators direct ownership over their content.
FanTV's business model blends paid AI-powered content creation features with engagement rewards. Users can buy credits for premium AI tools, tip creators, and even launch their own digital tokens to offer exclusive content and build closer community ties.
Looking ahead, FanTV plans to develop more advanced AI tools for creators, expand its global creator network, and enhance user growth strategies. Its unique approach, merging AI and blockchain, ensures a decentralized ecosystem that prioritizes creator ownership, fair value distribution, and new opportunities for digital creators around the world.
