Lender to the private sector HDFC Bank has said that it will be temporarily suspending UPI services on July 13 in order to migrate its Core Banking System (CBS) to a newly designed platform.
HDFC UPI Services Will Not Be Operable During These Hours
The bank has been advised that on July 13, HDFC UPI Services will be unavailable from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM.
Online Fund Transfer, Mobile Banking, and NetBanking Will Not Be Available
According to a Moneycontrol article dated July 13, NetBanking and mobile banking services would not be available from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the duration of the update. According to a report, online fund transfer methods like branch transfers, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, and HDFC Bank account-to-account online transfers would also not be available during the upgrade time.
Is It Possible to Use Your HDFC ATM Card on July 13?
Customers of HDFC Bank are able to use their debit and credit cards to make cash withdrawals from ATMs throughout the upgrade time. However, Moneycontrol stated that there would be certain restricted usage limitations. Debit and credit card swipes will be accepted on these devices.
