Collegedunia, a self-funded college search platform, generated over Rs. 200 crore in income. Strong partnerships with educational institutions and an emphasis on providing students with helpful resources and guidance have fueled the expansion of the Gurugram-based business.
In order to give students access to vital information and career guidance, Collegedunia has partnered with organizations such as LPU, IILM, Amity, ICFAI, Parul, and Bennett University over the years.
Collegedunia's Chief Executive, Sahil Chalana, that the company plans to increase its sales over the next five years, with an emphasis on international expansion, after surpassing the Rs. 200 crore revenue milestone. "Once we achieve Rs. 600 crore in revenue, we also have intentions to go public," he stated.
According to TheKredible, a startup data intelligence platform, Collegedunia's operating income for FY24 was Rs. 192.23 crore. Additionally, the business generated a profit in FY24, with earnings approaching Rs. 5 million.
For those who are unaware, Collegedunia is a 2014 company that was funded entirely by private donations. Along with 3.14, KickCash, and Prepp, the firm provides services targeted at ed-tech and digital marketing growth. Among its major customers are Amazon, Flipkart, PhonePe, GoJek, and Walmart. 3.14 is a performance-driven ad tech platform that helps organizations improve their marketing through data insights.
Prepp, a website created to assist Indian candidates for government exams, has grown significantly. In the past year, Prepp has become more popular among students getting ready for state-level exams as well as the UPSC and SSC.
The organization is currently working to assist international students in navigating global employment prospects and college admissions. Since its launch in 2021, Collegedunia's Study Abroad vertical has had year-over-year growth of over 120%. It currently covers additional European nations, but at first it concentrated on popular travel locations like the USA, UK, and Canada. It opened centers in Hyderabad, Delhi, Thane, Srinagar, and Kolkata in 2024–2025, and more are planned.
The company claims that Collegedunia is growing beyond college search to provide career guidance, skill development, and assistance with international schooling.
