As per the credible sources, the center is likely to present the full Budget for 2024-2025 by mid July, wherein, the Finance Ministry will start its pre-consultation Budget meetings. The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha will be held from June 24 to July 3 as per the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijuju post on X.
This session is said to cover the oath/affirmation of freshly elected members, the President's address, the election of the speaker for Modi 3.0 government, and other subsequent discussions. This schedule suggests that the first session will not adjourn indefinitely but will take a break before the second part begins.
Furthermore, as per the sources, the second part of the session would begin with the presentation of the Economic Survey for FY 2023-24. This would be further followed by the full Budget for FY25.
