Beacon.li, an enterprise technology startup, has raised $7 million (roughly Rs 60.9 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Sorin Investments.
Along with current investor Unicorn India Ventures and angel investors Aneesh Reddy, the founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies, Aravind Sanka, a co-founder of Rapido, and Kapil Bharti, Athera Venture Partners and JAFCO Asia also took part in the round.
The proceeds will be used to broaden its AI capabilities, expand its global footprint, and improve enterprise automation.
Founded in 2023 by Silus Reddy and Rakesh Vaddadi, Beacon.li provides AI-powered product assistants for enterprise software support.
Beacon.li claims that its AI assistant instantly generates documentation, automates procedures, responds to inquiries, and integrates with enterprise systems with ease. Among its clients are Darwinbox, Zluri, Keka HR, and Planful, among others.
Sorin Investments, which was co-founded by Sanjay Nayar, the former head of KKR India, announced in May of last year that its first fund had closed at Rs 1,350 crore. Additionally, Sorin Investments onboarded Subeer Monga as a partner.
Rakesh Vaddadi, Co-founder of Beacon.li, stated, "For enterprises to remain customer-centric, AI-driven automation is no longer optional; it is required. Customization, complexity, and out-of-date documentation slow adoption, but AI is changing that by creating seamless, intuitive user experiences that boost business efficiency. Our customers are already experiencing up to an 80% reduction in support volume and a fourfold increase in user adoption, demonstrating the value of AI-powered solutions."
The development comes as India's AI startup ecosystem is experiencing a funding drought, with investors increasingly backing application-focused ventures.
Besides Beacon.li, startups leveraging AI to automate enterprise workflows and IT service management—including SuperOps, Atomicwork, TrueFoundry, and Cognida.ai—are securing the majority of investments.
