Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited has chosen Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to improve its financial performance and productivity. By using Oracle Cloud ERP, the organization will be able to reduce manual procedures and embrace continuous innovation, improving reporting speed and accuracy, aligning financial and operational planning, and gaining insights to make better decisions.
Recognizing that information that is not available instantaneously is equivalent to being manual, Apollo Health implemented Oracle Fusion, allowing the organization to manage processes more efficiently and remain at the forefront of innovation.
Apollo Health & Lifestyle CEO Sriram Iyer stated, "We no longer rely on manual budgeting; instead, we have real-time access and control over our important business KPIs. These crucial aspects are managed on a daily basis. Oracle Fusion's advanced features allow us to properly analyze and manage our finances."
Regarding Apollo Health's decision to use Oracle Fusion Cloud, Iyer stated, "We've had a good experience with Oracle in the past, and Oracle Fusion stands out as one of the best products on the market for our requirements. Our major goal was to streamline our existing processes, with a strong emphasis on compliance. Oracle Fusion's cloud-based ERP solution enables faster access across many platforms in our ecosystem. Its seamless connection capabilities were very useful for us because we operate multiple business units with separate hospital and lab information systems (HIS and LIS). In addition, we have developed seamless relationships with our vendors and banking partners.
Apollo Health's migration from Oracle EBS to Fusion Cloud ERP was guided by a detailed strategic strategy that intended to maintain operational continuity while leveraging on the benefits of cloud technology. During the transformation, the essential business processes were critically evaluated to ensure conformity with Fusion's recommended best practices.
“Improving synergy with five existing HIS (Health Information Systems) and managing the complexities of data transfer were also critical components of the approach. In conjunction with PwC and Oracle, AHLL methodically identified which unique features were critical and which could be replaced with Fusion's basic offers. This resulted in the deployment of a more streamlined, resilient cloud environment suitable for simple updates and increased flexibility,” explains Deepa Param Singhal, Vice President, Applications, Oracle India.
While it is too early to provide concrete ROI estimates after Apollo Health transitioned to Oracle Fusion a few months ago, Iyer discussed how the transfer has benefited the organization thus far: "Previously, our team spent a significant amount of time on manual data uploads and integrations, which limited our ability to analyze and take action. Oracle Fusion automates data retrieval while also providing insightful dashboards and analytic tools. This transition allows our staff to devote more time to data analysis and informed decision-making rather than data entry and updates. Overall, this has resulted in enhanced productivity, higher accuracy, and a more dynamic approach to our operations.”
Apollo Health is actively investing in technology, including data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation. Aside from Oracle Fusion, the company uses AI to streamline diagnostic services, improve queue management, and provide targeted marketing solutions.
Apollo Health provides an integrated healthcare strategy that allows for seamless transitions between diagnostic centers, clinics, and hospitals. The corporation operates a network of standardized primary healthcare models, including Apollo Clinic in India and the Middle East, Diabetes Management Clinics under Apollo Sugar, Dental Clinics under Apollo Dental, and Diagnostic Centers under Apollo Diagnostics. The firm also offers specialist formats under the names Apollo Cradle (a Center for Women and Children), Apollo Fertility (a center for infertility treatment), Apollo Spectra Hospitals (a hospital for minimally invasive surgery), and Apollo Dialysis (a chain of Dialysis Centers).
