According to Bumble, Anu Subramanian will leave her position as Chief Financial Officer on March 14, 2025. Subramanian was instrumental in the company's 2021 IPO after joining the dating app operator as CFO in 2020.
Bumble has started looking for a replacement for Subramanian. Early morning trading saw a 1.7% decline in the company's shares.
Bumble said on Monday that Selby Drummond, its Chief Marketing Officer, will be leaving in January of next year as part of more leadership changes. She was Chief Brand Officer until joining Bumble in 2020.
Neil Shah was also named by the corporation to the newly-created position of Chief Business Officer. Shah will be in charge of strategic change, which will include advancing alliances, pricing, and the revenue model.The Austin, Texas-based business said last month that its quarterly sales had dropped for the first time since becoming public, indicating that it would take more time for it to accelerate its slow growth pace.
By releasing a new Bumble app with updated features, the firm has stepped up its marketing efforts to draw both women and younger consumers.
Following a post-pandemic rise, growth has been constrained by lower user spending on the women-focused dating app and its premium features due to higher borrowing costs.
Bumble has confirmed its financial outlook for the fourth quarter and full year of 2024.
