Adani Total Gas announced a 71.6% increase in fourth-quarter net profit on Tuesday. Net profit increased to Rs 168 crore in Q4 compared to Rs 97.9 crore in the March 2023 quarter. Revenue increased by 4.7% to Rs 1167 crore in the last quarter, compared to Rs 1114.8 crore in the same period the previous year.
The Board of Directors resolved to recommend a dividend of Rs. 0.25 (Rupees Twenty-Five Paise). Shares with a face value of Re.1/- each are completely paid-up for the fiscal year 2023-24, subject to approval by company shareholders. The firm has selected Friday June 14, 2024 as the record date for the purpose of assessing the right of the company's members to receive dividends.
Earnings per share for the company increased to Rs 1.53 in Q4 FY24 from Rs 0.89 in Q4 FY23.
EBITDA increased 47.6% to Rs 299.1 crore in Q4, compared to Rs 195.2 crore in Q4 of FY23. EBITDA as a proportion of net profit increased to 24.7% in Q4 from 17.5% in Q4 of FY23.
The earnings were revealed after market hours. Adani Total Gas shares increased 1.07% to Rs 928.90 on the BSE, up from the previous closing of Rs 919.10. The firm's market capitalization increased to Rs 1.02 lakh crore. On the BSE, total 1.44 lakh shares of the firm changed hands, resulting in a turnover of Rs 13.45 crore.
