Aakash Educational Services, Byju's main subsidiary, is attempting to set itself apart from its parent company in its brand advertising and sales pitch due to the company's financial and legal issues.
Workers at Aakash are being instructed to emphasize the company's unique brand identity. In a few recent social media postings, the corporation has also somewhat de-emphasized the "Aakash+ Byju's" brand.
A portion of Aakash's sales staff informed FE that, throughout the previous several months, they had received requests from upper management to emphasize on the test preparation institute's 30-year history rather than identify themselves as part of the "Aakash+Byju" brand.
According to one employee, they have been getting a lot of pushback from parents in recent months over the bad press Byju's has received in the media, which includes claims of misrepresenting loans and goods and problems with corporate governance.
“My superior advised me to concentrate on Aakash's 30-year legacy when I inquired how to handle this. I was instructed to highlight how Aakash's coaching, teaching, and administration are all unique; the employee stated that the only similarity between our practices and Byju's is that we are in the same group.
